NOTD: Essie – Mint Candy Apple
Long time no NOTD! 
I got a wee bit addicted to nail art and I haven’t had a manicure without Konad, gradients or rhinestones in weeks! After my New Years Eve inspired manicure I wanted to wear something simple again and picked Essie’s Mint Candy Apple for New Year Eve. Oh how I love it!
Creme nail polishes have a special place in my heart and Mint Candy Apple is one of my favorites. The application was great. One sheer coat and one thicker second coat and it was opaque.

I’m still not sold on the mint green fad… The closest I’ve got is For Audrey.
My NYE mani was Misa A Sin Worth Committing layered with Nfu-Oh #50.

I am completely sold and have it in a mini… so guess at some point I will have to get in a normal bottle to.. sigh
LOL! Well, I’m not properly convinced yet, but I’m easily enabled when it comes to a lot of other stuff, I assure you!
MCA looks great on you, but it failed on me. I have to agree with Solveig. I had formula issues with this one as well.
Not really a mint green fan although Chanel Jade was to die for. $23 is a lot for a polish though!
My NYE mani was Essie’s Midnight Cami. I’m now wearing China Glaze’s Emerald Sparkle. I haven’t yet sunk my teeth in Dorothy Who? It’s so cold here that I haven’t been feeling like wearing a glittery blue like Dorothy Who?

I just love the mint green polishes. I have to buy this one. Looks fantastic on you. I also love your photgraphs. They are clean, crisp and close up! Three very important C’s. I wish I had MAC’s Peppermint Patti. That’s a big lemming for me.

I had Peppermint Patti but I never used it. After I saw swatches of the BarryM mint green I even sold it because I thought I just buy the dupe later.
I adore mint green nail polishes too. There is just something about them that makes me love them so much. Either light ones like Mint Candy Apple or Re-Fresh Mint or darker and muted ones like Misa’s Dirty, Sexy, Money. They always amaze me.
