Hi everyone! :)
Yesterday it was so hot here – over 30°C – and I hated the heat so much that I decided to layer Deborah Lippmann’s Boom Boom Pow over A England’s Perceval for a Christmassy looking manicure:

Boom Boom Pow was one of my first Deborah Lippmann nail polishes and I love to layer it. Gold large and medium sized hex glitters and gold flecks? I like. 😀

Which are your favorite Deborah Lippmann glitters? I’d love if there would be a glitter like Boom Boom Pow in every color.

Thanks for looking! ♥ :)

  1. Love the creative combo on your nails. I’m recovering from anal cancer and the murder of a son…two hard life events.

Therapy helps…but discovering the fun of polishing my nails…the best thing I have done for myself in forever!!! Appreciate your pic which make me smile.

I have enjoyed butter London. Not yet tried DL. Do you think West End Wonderland would give a similar look to nails?

    • Ann I am so sorry for your loss and the hard times you were and are going through. :(

I am glad that painting your nails brings you joy. A dedication which might seem simple to non-nail polish enthusiasts is great to do something for yourself and to distract from what causes you pain. I hope you keep enjoying painting your nails. <3

Sadly I don't have the Butter London glitter. Is it very opaque? DL Boom Boom Pow is very sheer which makes it great for layerings. If the BL nail polish sheer too it could give a somewhat similar result. HTH! :)

  2. This looks AMAZING! I really admire your nail polish collection and it’s inspiring (and motivating) me to stop biting my nails. I may go for gel nails whilst they grow a bit more, just to get used to have them and to prevent my real nails breaking off [theyre too weak]. xx

    • Thank you so so much Alison. <3
It means so much to me that I can inspire you with my swatches to stop biting your nails. I wish you good luck and that you soon will have the nails of your dreams.
I've never bitten my nails but my nails were very weak, thin and they peeled and broke. What helped my nails to grow strong was a great nail strengthener (I use OPI Nail Envy) and always wearing nail polish to keep my nails protected from water. xx <3
