I must be on a layering kick with jelly sandwiches lately! 😀 A week ago I was swatching Illamasqua Gamma from their Toxic Nature Spring Summer 2011 collection and immediately thought this must be a great base color for a layering with Cult Nails Captivated from their new A Day at the Races collection. Because of my new found love for jelly sandwiches I decided to also layer one coat of a jellow Nfu.Oh jelly with the number 126 over this manicure.
I love love love the result and still – six days after application – I am wearing it on my nails. Because it is now starting to chip I need to remove it though.. tomorrow. I need one more evening with this squishy orange layering deliciousness:
So squishy. ♥ 😀 Because Gamma is a neon nail polish this layering is even brighter in real light.
I don’t really want to remove this manicure because I love it so much but next to the starting chipping my nails desperately need to be filed down at least 2 mm. As much as I love a bit longer nails with a certain length they start to annoy me for example when typing on my keyboard. The feeling when long nails are touching a key? Horrible. 😮
Do you have Cult Nails Captivated? If yes I highly recomment to try it with a yellow or orange jelly on top if you like squishy nail polish sandwiches.
Thanks for looking and have a great week! ♥
