Hi guys! I am so excited to do this guest post for the fabulous Jeanette. Not only is her blog all sorts of amazing but we are almost name twins, anyone with an aholic at the end of their blog name is good people in my book! I always find myself coming here and then having to close the window before Jeanette creates like 1000 lemmings for me.
One of my favorite things Jeanette does is amazing layering mani’s…I seriously bow down to her skills. I really can’t even fathom how she comes up with all these insanely awesome combo’s I just sit at my computer and drool when she posts them. Now of course when Jeanette asked if I would do a guest post the first thing I thought (after I stopped fangirling over her) was “oh noes I need to think of some amazing layering” but I sort of fail hard at that.
Alright so this is what I came up with, nowhere near the awesome that Jeanette does but I really love it…hopefully you do to! When I started out with this I knew I wanted to use two things, Kleancolor Chunky Holo Bluebell and Liquid Euphoria Nirvana. I thought those 2 would somehow make each other more multichrome than they are individually, it kind of worked, sort of! For the base of this polish I resorted to frankening, I wanted a blue jelly but Revlon Royal wasn’t a dark enough blue for me. I ended up with something a little more of a true navy blue jelly. I used 2 coats of the franken then 1 coat of Kleancolor Chunky Holo Bluebell and 1 coat of Liquid Euphoria Nirvana for this mani. The first photo is in full sunlight and the other 2 are in the shade to show all it’s multi chrome awesomeness!
Hope you all like my layering attempt, thank you Jeanette for having me on your wonderful blog!!
