Looking at pictures which you made before breaking your nails a couple of times can be painful and make you sob. Nonetheless I continued browsing through my manicures to look which swatches I haven’t posted yet and Cult Nails Manipulative caught my attention. How come that this beauty from the Divas & Drama Collection isn’t up yet? Because Manipulative is now limited edition (but still available as for today) I knew that this muted light blue green, which leans somewhere inbetween a muted seafoam green and a muted robin’s egg blue, had to be up asap.

Cult Nails – Manipulative: three (thin coats)
Base coat: OPI – Nail Envy Matte
Top Coat: Essence – Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer
Manipulative was a bliss to apply. I used three thin coats in the pictures but it also would have been opaque with two regular coats. The base of Cult Nails Manipulative is a cream but it is also contains blue and pink shimmer and shimmer flecks. On the nails – due to the opaque base color – the subtle shimmer mostly appears blue.
Muted light blue greens are one of my favorite nail polish colors. They are soft with an edge and classy with an attitude.
I wish Manipulative wouldn’t be limited edition. Get it while you can!

Such a beautiful color! I might have to pull the plug on this. I love the minty, tealy, aqua like colors. And the subtle shimmer is a nice touch.

Blue is the color I seem to neglect the most too. I have worn a few lately but most of the time I pick a purple, green or any holo instead.
