piCture pOlish Cosmos – the nail polish that became my 2012 favorite seconds after it arrived ♥

It has been so long. :(
In the last months of 2012 I have been sadly so stressed that I couldn’t find enough time to blog and share my NOTDs and swatches with you on here but more on that later. First let me share a nail polish with you that stole my heart in 2012. I haven’t spend much thoughts on my favorites of 2012 before but when piCture pOlish Cosmos arrived I knew that this stunning medium/dark blue jelly packed with scattered holographic glitter in various gorgeous shapes and sizes would be my favorite. It is like Essie Starry Starry Night on crack. While even Cosmos can’t completely satisfy my lemming for Starry Starry Night it is the most beautiful medium/dark blue night sky squeezed in a nail polish bottle I have ever seen.

piCture pOlish Cosmos is even better than I could imagine. It is perfect. Everything about it. Pure perfection.

Camille thank you so so much for creating such a masterpiece of a nail polish. I am in love and can’t imagine to ever stop staring at my nails.

The medium/dark blue jelly base of piCture pOlish Cosmos makes me swoon. It is gorgeous. Gorgeous, squishy and the scattered holographic glitter and shimmer with its irregular shapes and sizes look as if it’s floating in the jelly base. ♥

Coats used
piCture pOlish – Cosmos: three (was perfectly opaque after two)
Base coat and top coat
Base coat: OPI – Nail Envy Matte
Top Coat: Essence – Better Than Gel Nails top sealer

I am so happy that I caved and ordered piCture pOlish Cosmos. It is just simply breathtaking and its formula is also perfect. The application was easy and Cosmos was fully opaque after two coats. For the camera I applied a third coat though. If you love blue nail polishes or don’t but like how it looks I highly recommend to pick it up. Also I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful nail polish for my first post after my involuntary hiatus. I wish I could have come back sooner but I was too exhausted after work in the last months to post. And with every week that passed by the more I felt that a weekend wasn’t enough time to rest. Most of the time I just napped or sat lethargic on my couch but now after a little vacation I feel much more rested and excited to be back.

    You got gorgeous pictures of a gorgeous polish. But I do believe that I love the title of this post more than anything, because it is EXACTLY how I felt. We got it 2 or 3 weeks before the end of the year, and the MOMENT I tore that envelope open and saw it, I KNEW it was the top spot of ALL of 2012.       Mich selbst ärgert es am meisten, wenn ich eine längere Pause einlegen muss. Schlimmer wäre es jedoch, nur weil man denkt dass man bloggen muss zu bloggen nur um dann irgendwann gänzlich die Motivation und Laune zu verlieren. :(

      Aww thank you so much Pam! :) Lol yes the lemmings for Cosmos might eventually have increased now.. oops! And I need a backup bottle as well. :D But Cosmos will be around longer so sooner or later we all will get our paws on it again. :)
