If you don’t already have a nail crush on Martha (Amy Grace) from The Polished Perfectionist you are missing out. Not only are her nails breathtakingly gorgeous but she is also such an inspiration. And a total sweetheart as a cherry on top. 
One of Martha’s many nail art specialties – in my most biased opinion ♥ – are glitter tips and with her recent glitter tips using the stunning a england She walks in Beauty from the Heavenly Quotes collection I knew I finally had to try a glitter tips manicure myself. I always admired Martha’s glitter tips and I think I have to play more with them because they are so much fun to apply but also to wear. Not to mention they can spice up a manicure which you are already wearing without having to apply a full new manicure when you are short on time.
I was already wearing Essence Lilac is my Style – which isn’t a lilac color at all – from the just released Snow Jam collection and loved it so much that I didn’t wanted to remove is just yet so I applied the She walks in Beauty glitter tips on this stunning purple.
Isn’t a england She walks in Beauty beautiful? The various sizes of pale pink metallic hex glitter and green/gold small flecks make She walks in Beauty perfect for sponged glitter tips. You can focus with the larger glitter pieces on the tips of your nails and can fade the glitter tips out with the green/gold flecks.
At first I wasn’t interested at all in the Essence Snow Jam collection. I even had forgotten that it was already released but when I saw the display in the store all four nail polishes had to come home with me. Especially the purple Lilac is my Style is beautiful. However it is very, very camera shy. With my camera it looked like a completely different nail polish but with hours of color correction I tried to come as close to IRL as possible.
Depending on if you’re outside, inside, in direct or indirect lighting Lilac is my Style can look warmer (almost rather berry than a warm purple), cooler, lighter, darker and less saturated. It is a little diva. 
Oh this soft warm pink shimmer in Essence Lilac is my Style.. I am developing a soft spot for subtle shimmers. ♥
