KOTD: Floral Green

Hi everyone!

Long time no KOTD! Polish Hoarder from polishhoarderdisorder.blogspot.com wrote in a comment that she misses my KOTDs and I missed them too. I was really stressed lately so I had no time to play with my Konad stuff but today I couldn’t wait any longer and had to do a Konadicure again!

This Konadicure is dedicated to Guillaume who helped me to get my hands on Outta Bounds! :)

KOTD: Imperial Purple

Or is Royal Purple a better name? Somehow the combination of purple and gold always makes me think royal. :)

I love to konad-ify a manicure with Konad when I am already wearing a nail polish for two or more days and today it was about time to add some layered Konad to OPI’s OPI Ink. :D

Because I adore layered konadicures I picked China Glaze’s LOL as my Konad base stamping nail polish and China Glaze’s 2030 for the gold stamping.

Purple and gold.. these two colors are meant for each other. Love love love them together!

KOTD: Royal Olive

When I finally got my hands on Sephora by OPI’s 212 I knew with which nail polish I’d like to try a konadicure: p2′s Glory (247). Glory is in the same color family – it is just lighter.
Because Glory isn’t a one coater I knew that the stamping would be subtle but I love subtle stampings.

Something about 212 and Glory make me think.. royal. Like the colors of clothes you would wear on a royal hunting trip? If that makes sense. :D
The perfect full nail motif for this look is the plaid pattern on Konad’s m64.

This manicure was a rush job so the pattern and rhinestone are not perfectly aligned but I love how this subtle stamping looks. On my ring finger I first just wanted to stamp the crown from Konad’s m40 image plate but because my nailbeds are pretty narrow I had no idea how to place it properly. Then I thought.. why not stamping two crowns to create a new shape? :)

KOTD: Ho Ho Holiday 3

Round three of feeling very Christmassy! :D

Finally after a long long journey my order with the The Wizard of Ooh Ahz Returns nail polishes and my first CND effects nail polish arrived.
The first thing I had to do was of course to play with the CND effects nail polish! :D
I was still wearing my Ho Ho Holiday 2 manicure and so I applied a bit of Crimson Sparkle over one nail with the old manicure. Wow.. I loved how Crimson Sparkle looked over Emerald Sparkle and so the idea for this manicure was born. :)

KOTD: Alluring Holidays

Spellbinding was the next of the Milani Halloween collection I wanted to play with after Enchantment. I love how the black base with colored glitter nail polish looks as a base for Konad so I did a Konadicure with two image plates again. :)

Because of the red glitter I wanted to try something Christmas inspired.. but a more vampy version. I also wanted to add some rhinestones again. Unfortunately my ordered round red rhinestones haven’t arrived in time so I had to use square shaped ones. This Konadicure would look better with smaller round rhinestones but waiting till today to finish the Konadicure wasn’t an option. :D

I also used two different nail polishes for the two stampings again. Zoya’s Salma (a shimmery red) and Passion – one of China Glaze’s Romantique nail polishes.
