Feeling very Christmassy round two!
I still haven’t had any mulled wine this season but I can’t stop thinking about nice holiday manicures. With my second Christmas manicure I wanted to try a gradient with two very different colors and I picked OPI’s Smitten With Mittens and my beloved and adored China Glaze’s Emerald Sparkle. Sigh.. how much I adore Emerald Sparkle.
For this gradient I used the spongy packaging material again and it worked like a charm this time too. Because of two so different colors in the gradient I wanted to stamp two different motifs with two different nail polishes this time. Zoya’s Kalmia makes a gorgeous subtle stamping nail polish over a darker red base and China Glaze’s Passion – as always – stamps perfect.

Lately I am feeling very Christmassy and I wanted to try a simple but cute Christmas inspired Konadicure with one of my new favorite nail polishes: OPI’s Dear Santa. I adore this nail polish!
Also I wanted to try to make a gradient but I had none of these special sponges at home so I just used some spongy packaging material and it worked like a charm.
No wonder though I only use the Konad special polishes rarely.. I just don’t like how they smear when you put a regular top coat over them. I have bought the Konad top coat just for them but it takes so long to dry.. I guess I am Seche Vite speed spoiled.

The Russian Navy and Breathe Life layering NOTD has to wait in line.. again. But I had to post todays NOTD first because I now saw that the makeup line by Calvin Klein now apparently also leaves the international market after the brand left the german market a few months ago. Besides two products I can’t find any more products from this brand on the Sephora website. O.o
Last summer I bought a set with three mini ck Calvin Klein Beauty nailpolishes. The set was called Splendid Glam and was sold for 12 EUR.
The set consists of three nailpolishes with a amount of 4.5 ml/0.13 fl oz each
- mini splendid basis: Base Coat (no. 101) – clear base coat
- mini splendid color: Mad Red (no. 210) – cool toned red creme
- mini splendid color: Phoenix (no. 211) – cool toned burgundy creme

Another gorgeous red glitter nailpolish from the OPI holiday collection. Smitten With Mittens is the last of three nailpolishes I have purchased from this collection.. yet. Merry Midnight and Holiday Glow are still on my list but today five of the Milani Halloween nailpolishes jumped in my shopping card. So now the last two OPI’s I am lemming have to wait.
Smitten With Mittens is darker than I thought. It is much darker than Dear Santa and I dare say that it is Dear Santa’s vampy sister. It almost looks like blood.. with glitter.

Wow.. I have a strong feeling that I might need to purchase a backup of this nailpolish! The finish looks like a MAC Dazzleglass.. I am mesmerized. ♥
